4th International Conference for Computing and Informatics (ICCI’ 2019)

4th International Conference for Computing and Informatics (ICCI’ 2019) On the 10th of December 2019, Future University in Egypt had the pleasure to host the 4th International Conference for Computing and Informatics (ICCI’ 2019) which took place at Helnan Landmark Hotel in the fifth Settlement. Organized by Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, and under the auspices of Mr. Khaled Azazy, ICCI aims to introduce different and novel topics in the field of computer science and information systems. It also aims to create a platform for networking, knowledge transfer, exchange of research ideas and collaboration among researchers, scientists and technologists from some of the top organizations and universities worldwide.

The conference registration started at 9:30 AM, followed by the opening session at 10:00 AM with a welcome note from the conference honorary chair, Prof. Ebada Sarhan. Then the word of the conference chair, Prof. Mohamed Roushdy and the word of the conference co-chair, Prof. Neveen I. Ghali.

After the opening session, the keynote speech session took place between 10:30 AM and 12:00PM. The 3 key note speakers of the conference were Prof. Tarek El-Ghazawi (George Washington University), Prof. Sarma Cakula (Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences) and Prof. Alicia Maravelia (People’s University of Athens). A coffee break followed the keynote session.

The conference had approximately 60 attendees, and during the day, they had the opportunity to share opinions, explore new research ideas, and get involved in different discussions in various novel topics in the field of computer science and information systems such as Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT). The conference included 4 scientific sessions, with each two sessions held parallel to each other. The sessions started at 12:30 PM and ended at 2:30 PM. The total number of researches that were supposed to be presented at the conference were 16 research, but one of the researchers apologized at the last minute.
