Emphasizing on the importance of Future University in Egypt’s role in providing distinguished education by providing advanced educational programs that meet the requirements of the local, regional, and international labor market, Future University in Egypt (FUE) has officially signed a cooperation protocol with one of the most prestigious international companies, “Cisco”, to provide training opportunities at the highest level for university students and establish “Cisco Academy” at the university. In addition, Cisco will equip laboratories with the latest information and communications technology, which are a networking laboratory, a 5G technology laboratory, and an Internet of Things (IoT) laboratory. It was also agreed that Cisco would develop the university's internal network infrastructure to provide high-speed Internet services within FUE’s campus.
In the presence of Dr. Khaled Azazy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and first founder of the university, the protocol was signed by Dr. Ebada Sarhan, University President, and Eng. Ayman El-Gohary, CEO of Cisco in Egypt, North Africa & Levant, and in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Farouk, Regional Director of Social Responsibility and Cisco Academy in Egypt and & Levant, and Eng. Mostafa Sorour, Director of Sales for the Governmental Sector, Dr. El-Sayed Tag El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Future University in Egypt, and Dr. Mahmoud Sami, Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, and Director of the Quality Assurance and Continuous Development Center at FUE.
Eng. Ayman El-Gohary expressed his cheerfulness, to cooperate with a university that is on top of the private universities in Egypt, taking steps to achieve the Presidential Vision of 2030, and to equip a generation of young people with the latest international programs that qualify them for the local and international labor market.
The university president, Dr. Ebada Sarhan, stated that the signing of the protocol with Cisco is one of the important achievements in order to train students, before graduation, to keep pace with the labor market, especially with a prestigious international company such as Cisco.
Eng. Ahmed Farouk stated that it is a golden opportunity for FUE’s students to provide the latest programs and training opportunities at the university, which qualifies them for job opportunities in the local and regional market.
In this context, Eng. Mustafa Sorour praised the constructive cooperation between FUE and Cisco, and the beginning of a strong partnership in all fields and activities.
