Database systems - 1

The essential concepts of database systems are covered in this course, including history, basic architecture, data models and design, and applications. The database design process is covered in detail, with a focus on high-level data models and relational technologies. The basic concepts of relational languages are covered, with a focus on the Standard Query language (SQL). Students will receive hands-on experience designing and creating relational databases for given data requirements, as well as practice designing and executing SQL queries, through a series of exercises, assignments, and a course project
