Professor & FUE President
Prof. Sarhan has held the position of Founding President of Future University in Egypt since 2006.
In 1995, Prof. Sarhan founded the Faculty of Computers and Information at Helwan University, the first faculty of its kind in a Public University in Egypt. In 1984, Prof. Sarhan established the Scientific Computing Center at Helwan University. Prof. Sarhan held several academic positions at Helwan University leading to his promotion to Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Helwan University. In 1984, Prof. Sarhan was a visiting professor at Old Dominion University in the USA
Prof. Sarhan is a member of a number of organizations including: The Egyptian Computer Journal Publication Association, the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate, the Scientific Committee of the International Conference of Artificial Intelligence, the Egyptian Teachers’ Syndicate. Prof. Sarhan was also an active member of the National Information Committee at the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, the Egyptian National Council for ICT and a member the Computer and Information Systems Sector Committee at Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities.
Prof. Sarhan is a member of a number of international organizations including: the British Computer Society, the UK Institution of Electrical Engineers and the US Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Prof. Sarhan was also a member of the Evaluation Committee of Information Technology Project and Undergraduate Degrees of Computer Science at Ajman Faculty at the Ministry of Higher Education in the United Arab Emirates.
Prof. Sarhan has authored and published more than 45 scientific articles in international and local journals in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology.
Prof. Sarhan holds a B.Sc. in Communications and Electronic Engineering from Cairo University, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Manchester University,UK and a PhD. in Computer Systems from Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh.

Dean of the Faculty
Prof. Abeer Elkorany holds a Ph.D. (2002), M.Sc. (1996), and B.Sc. with Honors (1992) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University. She has extensive academic and leadership experience, having served as Head of the Computer Science Department (2014–2023), coordinator of the Master of Software Engineering program, and founder of the FCI Innovators Club.
Her professional contributions extend beyond academia, including consultancy at ITIDA (2008–2010) for the Research and Innovation Support. Since 2022, she has been Director of the Academic Committee for Content Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, contributing to the Digital Egypt Cubs Initiative (DECI) and the Digital Egypt Marble Initiative (DEMI).
Prof. Elkorany has published over 70 papers in international and national venues, receiving multiple scientific awards. Her research interests include Artificial intelligence, machine learning, knowledge-based systems, semantic networks, ontology development, knowledge management, social network analysis, recommender systems and quality assurance.

Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs
Ramadan obtained his B.Sc from Military Technical College in Electric Engineering and M.Sc degree from Military Technical College in Computer Engineering. He obtained his PhD from ENSAE College, France in Software Engineering. He taught several courses in CS and CE in several institutions including the American University in Cairo, the Military Technical College, Cairo University and the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. He joined Future University in 2011 and currently working as Vice-Dean of FCIT.

Head of the Computer Science Department
I am an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Cairo University, and I currently serve as the Head of the Computer Science Department at the Faculty of Computer and Information Systems at Future University. My research actively focuses on Natural Language Processing (NLP), machine learning, and deep learning. I am passionate about developing technology that enables computerized natural language processing to become as fluent as human communication. I have supervised numerous research projects in this area and have a keen interest in the impact of deep learning across various fields, particularly in medical field, NLP, and security.

Mahmoud Sami is a lecturer in Computer Science Department and Director of Quality Assurance and Continous Development Center. He graduated from Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University since 2008 ; he joined FUE in 2008. he got his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree from the same faculty he graduated from. He received two awards as an outstanding Instructor for the academic years 2011-2012 and 2013-2014. His research directions are Artifcial Intelligence and Machine Learning and their Applications.

Dr. Naglaa Saeed is currently an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Computer Science at Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, Future University in Egypt. With over three decades of academic and research experience in Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University. She specializes in Parallel and Distributed Computing. Her research focuses on designing parallel algorithms and scheduling distributed resources. She renowned for advancing research in Grid scheduling, High-Performance Computing, Bioinformatics, and object recognition, with a robust publication record in high-impact journals and active participation in international conferences. She also serves on review boards and program committees for several academic journals and conferences.

Amal Mehanna is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Future University. She served as Head of the Computer Science Department until 2025 and has been serving actively as Chair of the competitions Committee to date, during which students at Future university achieved top rankings in various international competitions, including Croatia
(2023), Hanover, Germany (2024) and China (2024). She received her BEng. Degree, first class with Honours, in Communication Engineering from Leicester, UK, 2001, she was one of the top three students in her faculty. In 2000 she was the representative of the Electronics and Communications Engineering student body. She was a member of the European project (3D-VIVANT) 2010-2013 (Brunel University, UK) and liaise with research staff from other EU countries. In 2013, she received her PhD. Degree in Holoscopic 3D technologies, Brunel University, west London, UK. Dr. Mehanna’s research interests include Digital signal processing, advanced 3D Imaging Systems: Holoscopic and Multiview 3D Image processing Video coding, medical images compression, electromagnetic waves, Mobile communication, Internet of Things (IOT), Embedded systems, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
