Personal Info: Amal Mehanna is a lecturer at the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Future University. She received her BEng. Degree, first class with Honours, in Communication Engineering from De-Montfort university, Leicester, UK, 2001 ,she was one of the top three students in her faculty. In 2000 she was the representative of Electronics and Communications Engineering student body. She was a member of the European project (3D-VIVANT) 2010/Present (Brunel University, UK) and liaise with research staff from other EU countries. In 2013, she received her PhD. Degree in Holoscopic 3D technologies, Brunel University, west London, UK. Dr. Mehanna’s research interests include Digital signal processing, advanced 3D Imaging Systems: Holoscopic and Multiview 3D Image processing Video coding, medical images compression, electromagnetic waves, Mobile communication and IOT.
