Name : Mohamed Mahmoud Aly Fouad AbdelMotagaly
Title: Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs
Personal Info: Mohamed M. Fouad received the Bachelor engineering (honors, with great distinction, GPA=3.9) and Masters' engineering degrees from the Military Technical College (MTC), Cairo, Egypt, in 1996 and 2001, respectively. As well, he received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada in August 2010. Then, he joined the department of Computer Engineering & A.I., at the MTC from 2010 till 2024. He is prompted to IEEE Senior Member in April 2019. Then, he is promoted to the Head of that department from Jan. 2020 till Dec. 2022. Then, he became an Associate Dean for Education & Research Development Jan. 2023 till Dec. 2024. Currently, he is a Vice Dean of Faculty of Computers & Information Technology, Future University, Cairo, Egypt. During his academic journey, he participated in organizing 11 international conferences and performing effectively all admin work to obtain renewal of international accreditation (i.e., ABET) and national accreditation (i.e., NAQAAE). His h-index is 11. He also published more than 44 articles in highly ranked journals and conferences . His research interests are in artificial intelligence, deep learning, high performance computing (HPC), image\video processing, multi-view video coding, data encryption on GPUs, and single/multi (SOT/MOT) object tracking in videos.
