Title: Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs
Personal Info: Wael Zakaria is an associate professor of Computer Science and possesses over 20 years of expertise in academia and research, specializing in artificial intelligence, data mining, data science, machine learning, EEG signal processing and classification, and bioinformatics. Possesses strong publishing, project management, and graduate supervision skills. Having held several key positions, including vice dean for education and student affairs, head of the computer science division, director of the information technology unit, and, most recently, director of the quality assurance unit. He has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including databases, data mining, data science, data structures, machine learning, bioinformatics, computer vision, compiler design, design and analysis of algorithms, object-oriented databases, object-oriented programming, and numerical analysis.
