Student teams from Future University in Egypt achieved a remarkable milestone during their participation in RoboCup 2026, held on April 18, 2026, at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in El Alamein. The event brought together elite student teams from around the globe in a dynamic and highly competitive setting. The MINOAN ROBOTSPORTS COMPETITION is recognized as one of the leading global championships in robotics, uniquely structured to reflect the spirit and organization of the Olympic Games. It provides participants with an exceptional platform to demonstrate their technical expertise, engineering capabilities, and teamwork in an environment that promotes innovation and cross-cultural collaboration. This year’s edition featured participation from more than 33 countries, highlighting the scale, diversity, and intensity of the competition. Throughout the event, FUE students showcased outstanding performance, achieving 2nd and 3rd place in the Archery competition, a category that demands high levels of precision in robot design and programming, as well as advanced analytical skills.
